Periodic Inspection Of Lifts

Periodic inspection of lifts refers to installations they are already in use and have been certified in the past or carry a state license.

WHAT IS THE PERIODIC CONTROL:

Periodic inspection of lifts is mandatory in accordance with Hellenic national legislation.
The purpose of periodic inspection is to ensure and maintain a satisfactory level of safety of existing lifts. The right to carry out the periodic inspection and to issue the relevant certificate is granted to Inspection and Certification Bodies accredited by Hellenic Accreditation Institute (ESYD).

THE OBJECTIVES AND THE BENEFITS OF THE INSPECTION ARE:

CERTIFICATION PROCEDURE:

The person concerned is required to apply to EVIO CONTROL to inspect the lift installation.
In coordination with the lift maintenance organization, the lift inspection is carried out.
In case the installation meets the requirements of the applicable legislation, a certificate of conformity is issued.
If there are deviations from legislation, a report is issued informing the owner about the works required.
