WHAT IS THE INITIAL LIFT INSPECTION:
The initial inspection of the lifts is mandatory according to Greek National Legislation (Government FEK 2604/B/2008) and carried out according to Directive 2014/33/EU
The right to carry out the initial inspection and issue of the relevant certificate is granted to Inspection and Certification Bodies accredited by Hellenic Accreditation Institute (ESYD), notified by European Union.
Accredited Inspection and Certification Bodies have appropriately trained engineers who assess the safety levels of lifts by checking the technical documentation of the lifts and carrying out the necessary checks / tests.
